"About us"
PFCN Futurists and Advisors
Alex Kochkin, Principal
Our backgrounds span a considerable range and depth of knowledge in most areas of human affairs. Professional experience encompasses business, government, public affairs, political campaigns, non-profit, and various esoteric activities at many levels. Our depth of understanding of so many facets of human activity lends itself to applying future-viewing insights to present day situations and with proper discernment.
We will work with individuals to aid their personal development and leadership responsbilities in creating beneficial, transitional change.
We are not interested in maintaining old patterns of behavior under a new veneer.
We help qualify and shape high level strategies and recommendations relative to a probable future.
We are unusual as “futurists” and consultants as we rely on “intuitive knowing”. Our perspectives take into account established background information, yet are not based on historical projecting of “trends” –although emerging patterns are very useful when used in the proper context.
Understanding the dynamics of social and political influences and awareness of probable futures is what makes our contributions unique. Our familiarity with many spheres of activity and with the challenging situation of leaders facilitates our positing of those “difficult questions” and in supporting decision process.
In the sphere of social dynamics, we have unique typological models based on a major statistically-projected social science study of our own design and implementation that included an accomplished team of professional research specialists. We are also very familiar with the problems of charitable non-profits and private foundations. With regard to technologies, we have background in precision and ultra-precision systems for measurement and control and fabrication for a wide range of materials and applications. Since the late 1970’s we have maintained a close involvement with information systems and subsequent Internet-based endeavors.
Our outward focus has been on the near and longer-term future that takes into account social-spiritual dynamics, geo-politics, and political economy.
