he values and beliefs Americans employ to make voting decisions are at the heart of A New America. The 8 Types typology present an entirely new perspective as we look at the potential for a more positive and integrated future.

In this chapter, we continue to examine how Americans express themselves in terms of values and their voting choices, and the extent to which these choices reflect their core values and related "mind space." Measurements of personal condition such as the Social Material Stress scale relate closely to voting likelihood, since it is an indicator of overall connection and comfort within society. However, measurements of personal values and beliefs, such as PFCI or STRC, are differentiators of important choices (candidate, voting, etc.).

This chapter further highlights commonalities between what has been historically viewed as disparate segments within American society that don't communicate or find meaningful ways in which to come together. What is a key influence is the extent that wholistic and spiritually oriented values shift or override STRC values.

It is entirely possible for us to create new social and political movements that have the greater good of our country, humankind, and our planet as their central focus and agenda.
