A New Way
As we seek new ways of conducting ourselves as individuals and as a society, new solutions cannot be created through attacking old structures and processes. Human history and culture were shaped by these old structures and norms as various societies evolved to serve the interests of personal and collective survival, and emergence from the feudalism of industrial commerce. It serves little good to complain and fight these old structures that helped to get us where we are today. Of course, where great harm is occurring, discernment may dictate appropriate interventions.
A much greater power exists based on the
power of compassion,
universal love, and
cooperation. It is
time for that power
to now assert itself
more visibly. This
is a vast untapped
reservoir of universal
awareness that will
give rise to new structures
and processes specifically
focused on creating
a positive and sustainable
future – not just
in the U.S., but globally
as well.
Greater numbers of people than ever before are rediscovering the imperative of honoring the Earth and our natural environment, identifying with spirituality and spiritual values, and taking a responsible view of our future on this planet. A major change is already underway.
What we are focused on in this material has a great deal to do with listening to, identifying with, and acting upon the higher or deeper aspirations we all share, in order to bring more people together around the highest common denominators possible in any given circumstance.
As our consciousness continues to outreach the ability of our old social structures to serve our future interests in the present, there will be increasing situations where what is new and emerging will be at odds with old paradigms. Until new structures dedicated to serving a positive future are in place, short-term circumstances may necessitate adapting what is worth adapting of our existing social, political, and economic structures. Such actions would be taken in the context of facilitating our transition to a positive future – so that we not waste energy trying to repair what can no longer be repaired.
This book presents ways to help make our positive future present in the here and now.
